Product

Flexible where you think. Rigorous where it counts.

Grego works in four steps. You set the view of the world; everything else follows it.

01 · Define

Set your view of the world.

Describe your field as your team sees it: the kinds of things that exist (patients, samples, teams, incidents), what you record about each, and how they relate. This is your ontology, built in the Ontology Manager without writing code.

Work on a draft until it is right, then publish it. Published versions never change, so everything built on them keeps its meaning.

02 · Collect

Fill it with your world.

Start a Project on a published version, and Grego turns that ontology into tables and forms. Every value, relationship and cardinality is checked before anything is saved.

Locations are recorded as observations with the time they were made, so the history is never lost. Each record’s latest known location comes from that history.

03 · Analyse

Explore it with your mindset.

See the Project on a map and as a graph of relationships. Both share the same filters and the same selection, so moving between them never loses your place.

The map shows each record’s latest known location, coloured by type. The graph expands neighbourhoods on demand, following the relationships you defined.

04 · Evolve

Change your mind, not your tool.

When your understanding changes, publish a new version of your ontology. There is no redevelopment and no waiting for a release: the change is yours to make.

Each Project stays on the version it was built on, so ongoing work is never disrupted. Moving a Project to a newer version is an explicit step, taken when you decide.

Deployment

Designed for on-premise.

Grego is a single application backed by PostgreSQL. It runs inside your organisation, on your own servers, or on a laptop for evaluation. No cloud service is required, and your data never leaves your control.
